My Love is Symmetrical print is based on mandelas. I am inspired by the richness and depth of pattern as it reflects the many layers of life and the world around us, the symmetry of Mandelas working out from a center, and the pattern our actions. Love is indeed symmetrical- small actions and reactions of reaffirment and care. This painting was a keystone image for my show at the Henry Sheldon Museum: the animals are innocent an exhibit to lament climate change.
This large vibrant painting sold, but prints are available. Love is Symmetrical represents my first study of mandalas as they depict the circles of life. My mandela series is in process now. Large complex illustrations based in the cycles of nature. The large Love is Symmetrical print is on 13×19 archival paper. It is gorgeous framed with glass.
Love is symmetrical also was used as the cover for my book; Come together . a handbook to retool for the future. I hope to ignite a bottom-up movement to change our daily habits to environmentally responsible ones- improving the health of all living things and our planet.
